1619 is a symbolic statement to mark the arrival of captured Africans at Pt Comfort in what was to become Virginia. The captives, were sold as slaves, and this was the beginning a horrid history of human misery in what became the United States. This tri-blend fabric creates a vintage, fitted look. And extreme durability makes this t-shirt withstand repeated washings and still remain super comfortable. Due to our unique printing process, there might be a slight smell of vinegar that will go away in the first wash.
